About Azura Horse
What we like about Azura Horse is how little it tries to be everything — it does haustiere, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Animal Embroidery Designs shelf. 2 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
Eyes decide whether an animal design works. If the file lists them as a separate colour stop, you can darken them without redoing the whole design. Our own plan for it is horses, because that is where this kind of pattern does the least arguing with you. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether haustiere is really what you are getting.
The words on the listing are pferde and reittiere, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. Nearby you will see animals-embroidery, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
