About Birdhouse Teapot Mug Rug
Most of what turns up under bird embroidery needs work before it is usable. Birdhouse Teapot Mug Rug is the version that does not. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. The save count is still small at 9, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
A face reads from across the room, fur texture does not. On anything smaller than a 4x4 hoop, pick the outline version. We keep it filed mentally under birdhouse embroidery, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Filed as birdhouse mug rug, bird mug rug, garden embroidery and garden mug rug. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. We filed it under Animal Embroidery Designs for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. Nearby you will see animals-embroidery, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
