About Butterfly and Bloom
What we like about Butterfly and Bloom is how little it tries to be everything — it does applique design, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Animal Embroidery Designs shelf. 35 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge.
Our own plan for it is bloom embroidery, because that is where this kind of pattern does the least arguing with you. A face reads from across the room, fur texture does not. On anything smaller than a 4x4 hoop, pick the outline version. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every pattern on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

How to use this pattern

- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
