About Catfish Hecht
What we like about Catfish Hecht is how little it tries to be everything — it does angeln, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Animal Embroidery Designs shelf. It is quiet on saves so far, so take this as our opinion rather than the crowd's. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
Our own plan for it is catfish, because that is where this kind of pattern does the least arguing with you. A face reads from across the room, fur texture does not. On anything smaller than a 4x4 hoop, pick the outline version. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Search for fish, hecht and logo and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same pattern, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. Nearby you will see animals-embroidery, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. We keep it under Animal Embroidery Designs, which is where to look if you want the rest of the animal embroidery designs we have gone through.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
