About Colorful Fish
Colorful Fish is our animal embroidery pattern pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. The save count is still small at 8, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
Our own plan for it is applique embroidery, because that is where this kind of pattern does the least arguing with you. Eyes decide whether an animal design works. If the file lists them as a separate colour stop, you can darken them without redoing the whole design. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Filed as baby embroidery design, colorful fish embroidery, creative fabrica embroidery and cute embroidery pattern. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. The same shelf also answers to animals-embroidery, so widen the search there before giving up on it. Its home here is Animal Embroidery Designs — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
