About Kingfisher
Most of what turns up under animal embroidery pattern needs work before it is usable. Kingfisher is the version that does not. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. 22 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
Dense animal fills pucker thin cotton. Back the fabric with cut-away stabiliser, not tear-away, whenever the stitch count runs high. If you want one use for it, take applique embroidery: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
Search for baby embroidery design, creative fabrica embroidery, cute embroidery pattern and decorative embroidery pattern and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same pattern, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. On this site it lives on the Animal Embroidery Designs shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing animal embroidery designs rather than searching for it by name. The neighbouring searches are animals-embroidery — worth a look if this particular pattern is close but not quite it.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
