About White Dove
White Dove earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to birds, and straight answers are rarer in this pattern catalogue than you would think. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. Only 11 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
Our own plan for it is dove, because that is where this kind of pattern does the least arguing with you. Eyes decide whether an animal design works. If the file lists them as a separate colour stop, you can darken them without redoing the whole design. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether birds is really what you are getting.
Filed as taube and vogel. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. We filed it under Animal Embroidery Designs for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. How to use this pattern
