About Postage Stamp
This is the one we reach for when the request is embroidery project. Postage Stamp keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. It sits at 12 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. The review tab is empty. Folk motifs carry meaning where they come from. If a design is going on a gift, a line about the pattern's origin is worth more than another colour. How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
