About Coin
We put Coin on the Baby & Kids Embroidery Designs shelf because gold is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. The save count is still small at 6, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
Our own plan for it is coin embroidery, because that is where this kind of pattern does the least arguing with you. Children's clothing goes through the wash twice a week. Choose a design with a satin-stitch border: it survives tumbling far better than a raw appliqué edge. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Search for coin, gold embroidery, kids and pirates and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same pattern, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. People after this usually search babies-kids too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. Its home here is Baby & Kids Embroidery Designs — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
