About Olive the Unicorn
What we like about Olive the Unicorn is how little it tries to be everything — it does cute embroidery, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Baby & Kids Embroidery Designs shelf. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. It sits at 7 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
Check the hoop size against the garment, not the picture. A 5x7 design will not sit flat on a newborn bodysuit. If you want one use for it, take digital embroidery: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether cute embroidery is really what you are getting.
It answers to embroidery, embroidery art, embroidery art work and embroidery crafts, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. We filed it under Baby & Kids Embroidery Designs for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are babies-kids and they stay on this page.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
