About Smiley Face
Most of what turns up under emoji needs work before it is usable. Smiley Face is the version that does not. 53 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.
Children's clothing goes through the wash twice a week. Choose a design with a satin-stitch border: it survives tumbling far better than a raw appliqué edge. The obvious job for it is happy, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every pattern on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
Filed as emoji embroidery, smiley, smiley face and smiley face emoji. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. The same shelf also answers to babies-kids, so widen the search there before giving up on it. You will find it among the baby & kids embroidery designs, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
