About Blackwork
Most of what turns up under decoration clothes needs work before it is usable. Blackwork is the version that does not. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. Only 50 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
Measure the finished repeat, not the hoop. Four repeats of a 180 mm border do not fit a standard pillowcase. How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
