About Border
Ask for cross stitch and you get a hundred near-misses; Border is one of the few that answers the question as asked. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. We are not the first to notice: 130 makers saved it on Creative Fabrica before we did, and that number is the closest thing to a verdict the platform gives.
Borders live or die on alignment. Mark the centre line on the fabric with a water-soluble pen before the first hooping, not after. The obvious job for it is cutwork border design, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Search for border design, embroidery border, embroidery lace and lace design and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same pattern, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. We keep it under Border Embroidery Designs, which is where to look if you want the rest of the border embroidery designs we have gone through. The same shelf also answers to borders, so widen the search there before giving up on it.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
