About Endless Flower Border

What we like about Endless Flower Border is how little it tries to be everything — it does border design, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Border Embroidery Designs shelf. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. The save count is still small at 22, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.

If you want one use for it, take cushion cover: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Measure the finished repeat, not the hoop. Four repeats of a 180 mm border do not fit a standard pillowcase. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether border design is really what you are getting.

If you came in looking for cutwork border design, embroidery border, embroidery corner and embroidery designs, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. We filed it under Border Embroidery Designs for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. Related wording on the shelf: borders. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it.

How to use this pattern

  1. Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
  2. Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
  3. Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
  4. Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
