About Frame
What we like about Frame is how little it tries to be everything — it does cute, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Border Embroidery Designs shelf. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. The save count is still small at 15, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
Borders live or die on alignment. Mark the centre line on the fabric with a water-soluble pen before the first hooping, not after. We would use it the way the listing hints — embroidery project — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
It answers to border, embroidery, embroidery design and frame, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. We filed it under Border Embroidery Designs for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. The neighbouring searches are borders — worth a look if this particular pattern is close but not quite it.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
