What we like about Leaf by Leaf Border is how little it tries to be everything — it does cutwork endless border, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Border Embroidery Designs shelf. Leaf Border made it. With 11 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.

How to use this pattern

- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
