About Pixie Stool
Most of what turns up under botanical embroidery needs work before it is usable. Pixie Stool is the version that does not. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. Outline flowers stitch in minutes and read well on fine fabric. Filled bouquets want a stable weave — quilting cotton rather than voile. Put it to work on fairy mushroom first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether botanical embroidery is really what you are getting.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
