About Trombone
Trombone is our embroidery project pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. The save count is still small at 10, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
Kit bags are heavy nylon. Use a sharp needle and a cut-away backing; a jersey needle skates on coated fabric. If you want one use for it, take machine embroidery: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
