About Colorful Mandala
What we like about Colorful Mandala is how little it tries to be everything — it does colorful embroidery, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Mandala & Shape Embroidery Designs shelf. 1 save means nobody has tested it for you. A mandala on dark fabric reads better in one light thread than in three shades competing for the same lines. We keep it filed mentally under embroidery applique, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether colorful embroidery is really what you are getting.

The same shelf also answers to shapes, so widen the search there before giving up on it. How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
