About Color Splash Burst
What we like about Color Splash Burst is how little it tries to be everything — it does abstract embroidery file, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Quote & Saying Embroidery Designs shelf. The save count is still small at 19, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
Lettering under about 6 mm tall loses its counters in thread. If the design does not state a minimum height, treat small script as decoration, not text. Our own plan for it is abstract patch file, because that is where this kind of pattern does the least arguing with you. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether abstract embroidery file was the description or the aspiration.
Filed as art inspired embroidery, artistic stitch pattern, art lover gift and bold graphic file. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. Nearby you will see awareness-inspiration, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. You will find it among the quote & saying embroidery designs, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
