About Forward Thinking
If you want the uncomplicated option, Forward Thinking is it — and most of the time the uncomplicated option is the one you end up using. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. 11 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
We would keep it for the project where a pattern has to work on the first try. A quote on a dark garment needs the letters digitised with an underlay. Without it the stitches sink and the words go grey. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
It is shelved with the rest of the quote & saying embroidery designs, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are awareness-inspiration and they stay on this page.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
