About Oh No
Oh No is our chikan embroidery digitizing pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. The save count is still small at 10, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.
Our own plan for it is chikankari embroidery for hat, because that is where this kind of pattern does the least arguing with you. Lettering under about 6 mm tall loses its counters in thread. If the design does not state a minimum height, treat small script as decoration, not text. How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
