About Sunflower
This is the one we reach for when the request is digital embroidery. Sunflower keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. Plenty of people got here before us: 157 of them saved it. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
A quote on a dark garment needs the letters digitised with an underlay. Without it the stitches sink and the words go grey. Our own plan for it is embroidery download, because that is where this kind of pattern does the least arguing with you. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every pattern on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
Search for embroidery designs, embroidery file, floral embroidery and flower embroidery and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same pattern, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. Nearby you will see awareness-inspiration, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. On this site it lives on the Quote & Saying Embroidery Designs shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing quote & saying embroidery designs rather than searching for it by name.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
