About Chicago
The reason Chicago is here is backdrop and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. The save count is still small at 43, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge.
Put it to work on background first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Religious and military designs often carry exact wording. Read the text at full size before stitching; a misspelled motto cannot be unpicked cleanly. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
Type building, chicago, city and cityscape into the search above and this one comes back — the same pattern under four different habits of phrasing. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are work-religion-school and they stay on this page. It is shelved with the rest of the work, faith & school embroidery designs, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
