About City Redwork
What we like about City Redwork is how little it tries to be everything — it does black and white, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Work, Faith & School Embroidery Designs shelf. 1 save means nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
Religious and military designs often carry exact wording. Read the text at full size before stitching; a misspelled motto cannot be unpicked cleanly. We would use it the way the listing hints — bluework — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether black and white is really what you are getting.
Search for buildings, car, cities and city and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same pattern, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. The neighbouring searches are work-religion-school — worth a look if this particular pattern is close but not quite it. We filed it under Work, Faith & School Embroidery Designs for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
