About City Silhouette
What we like about City Silhouette is how little it tries to be everything — it does city design, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Work, Faith & School Embroidery Designs shelf. It sits at 12 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
If you want one use for it, take city silhouette: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Scrub tops and uniforms are polyester. Use polyester thread too, or the bleach wash fades the design before the garment. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether city design was the description or the aspiration.
Search for city, embroidery, embroidery design and embroidery project and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same pattern, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. Related wording on the shelf: work-religion-school. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it. On this site it lives on the Work, Faith & School Embroidery Designs shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing work, faith & school embroidery designs rather than searching for it by name.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
