About Plaid
Plaid is our embroidery project pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. It sits at 9 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge.
School items are name-labelled. A design that leaves clear space underneath saves re-hooping for the name. Our own plan for it is machie embroidery, because that is where this kind of pattern does the least arguing with you. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every pattern on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
