About Mama's Mini
Most of what turns up under child embroidery needs work before it is usable. Mama's Mini is the version that does not. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. 20 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
Our own plan for it is daughter embroidery, because that is where this kind of pattern does the least arguing with you. Gift designs get looked at closely. A 2 mm satin border hides the small registration errors a quick stitch-out always has. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether child embroidery was the description or the aspiration.
It answers to embroidery design, embroidery file, embroidery pattern and family embroidery, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. It is shelved with the rest of the family & friends embroidery designs, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are family-friends and they stay on this page.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
