About Lace Shamrock-FSL
Most of what turns up under embroidery needs work before it is usable. Lace Shamrock-FSL is the version that does not. Credit goes to Lucinda's Embroideries. Only 28 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
If you want one use for it, take free standing lace: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Whatever you are making, read the finished measurements and the fabric list before the instructions: those two decide whether the project is the one you wanted. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether embroidery was the description or the aspiration.
The listing files it under embroidery designs, free standing lace shamrock, fsl and fsl shamrock — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. The searches that bring people to this shelf are skirt sewing pattern, dress sewing pattern, makeup bag sewing pattern, cat sewing pattern free printable and baggy pants sewing pattern free — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. The neighbouring searches are sewing pattern, pdf pattern, sewing tutorial and sewing project — worth a look if this particular pattern is close but not quite it. It is shelved with the rest of the sewing patterns, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one.

How to use this pattern
- Download the files from Creative Fabrica and unzip them into one folder.
- Print the pattern sheets at 100% — no scaling, no «fit to page» — and check the test square with a ruler before you cut anything.
- Tape the sheets together on the printed match marks, then cut the pieces out and keep the instruction sheet next to your machine.
- Sew a quick version in cheap fabric first if the shape is new to you; the second one is always the one you keep.
